2017 Barossa Valley Shiraz Clone 1127
The Western Ridge is home to a variety of Shiraz clones, each a testament to it’s unique terrior. For this wine, we identified a single vineyard SHIRAZ CLONE 1127.
Positioned north to south, the sun penetrates the vine longer during the day on the elevated free draining soils of ironstone over red clay at Marananga.
Expect a deeply coloured wine with silken medium bodied flavours of chocolate, spice and fine grained tannin structure.

2016 Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir Clone MV6
The Northern Adelaide Hills is home to a variety of Pinot Noir clones, each a testament to it’s unique terrior. For this wine we identified a single vineyard PINOT NOIR CLONE MV6.
Positioned north to south, the sun penetrates the vine longer during the day on the elevated free draining soil of alluvial sands and shale of the hamlet village of Kersbrook.
Expect a ruby coloured wine with strawberry and floral scents with a supple soft palate of red cherry, wild strawberries and fine tannin structure.

About the Creators

Clone Wines is the brainchild of esteemed winemakers Domenic Torzi and Tim Freeland. Synonomous with the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Plains and Mt. Lofty Ranges wine regions, they produce distinctive wines under the Old Plains Wine Co. and Longhop Wines families of wines.
